NFPS_68_thumbNorth Fremantle Primary School is set on an elevated bush block near the banks of the Swan River.

The school has a rich history that dates back almost 130 years. It remains an important part of the wider North Fremantle community and today continues to deliver quality education in a stimulating environment.

The school boasts classrooms equipped with the latest technology including interactive whiteboards and a range of mobile devices, including ipads and laptops. It has an art room complete with a kiln and a music room as well as a modern administration building, tennis and basketball courts and playground equipment for all ages.

There are grassy areas for play and wide covered corridors that provide shelter.

At the heart of the school is a much loved chicken coup full of feathered friends that provide endless entertainment and educational value. The chickens are nestled under a canopy of native trees and shrubs which, at recess and lunch, come alive with the buzz of children in cubby houses scattered throughout the bush.

A nature playground with winding paths, balance beams, ropes, rocks and a boat with views to the river provide students with nature play opportunities during learning breaks.
